In the 17th century, the Protestant Dauphin family immigrated from France to Germany and settled near Main river, where Frank Dauphin opened a textile factory, which later became one of the most famous silk factories. The Dauphin became the official supplier of the Royal court, founding the art&Décor factory. In the middle of the XX century the company was recreated in its present form, with a focus on the silk trade. 

The color palette of silk fabrics has more than two hundred colors. The brand offers elegant and graceful silk velvet, delicate and luxurious, designed for expensive interiors. They also produce double-sided silk. The collection, designed in the tradition of the house of Faberge, is the best suited for a lush interior.

Silks of Art & Décor impress by applying its patterns on the fabrics: a classic pattern with the image of ancient vases is drawn with gold on the surface of the material and can even be made with velvet.
