The English factory Designers Guild, founded by its current chief designer Trisha Guild in 1970. Today the company develops and creates upholstery fabrics, wall coverings and home accessories. The Designers Guild philosophy is a combination of creativity, innovation and an unsurpassed level of quality in design, production and in customer service. Quality, style, beauty, reliability, safety, relevance – this is only a small part of all the advantages that the brand's popular products have. The studio's designers, led by Trisha Guild, are inspired by Eastern decorative arts, Italian architecture, and classical collections. Today, the Designers Guild collection includes more than 5,000 fabrics and more than 4,000 Wallpapers such as floral prints and geometric patterns, stripes, cage, jacquard fabrics, tapestries, silks, velvets, and more. In 2008, Designers Guild released a collection of fabrics and wall coverings under the brand The Royal Collection. These are licensed designs based on the interiors of the English Royal court, including Buckingham Palace and Windsor castle. |
