Rubelli is a combination of long standing traditions of spectacular Venice and laborious work of five generations of Rubelli family. In the middle of the last century, the founder of the factory Lorenzo Rubelli bought a weaving factory in Venice where he revived manufacturing of Venetian silk. Today Rubelli is one of the largest companies in Italy and is one of the three world’s best manufacturers of interior textiles. The brand unites three different structures - Dominique Kiefer, Donghia and Armani Casa. Rubelli fabrics were used for interior decoration of the best world museums, castles, Royal apartments and theaters like La Scala and La Fenice. For example, Rubelli was in charge of recreating the curtain for the main stage of the Bolshoi theater. |
